The challenge was to turn that short-lived patriotic energy into something more lasting, encouraging consumers to choose South African-made products not just in peak moments, but all year round in a highly competitive retail space.
Solution
Through a focused digital and social strategy, we created consistency across touchpoints, encouraging people to Start and End Your Journey with Local. By linking retail moments throughout the year, we helped transform buying local from a seasonal gesture into an everyday choice that sustains real communities.
Results
The campaign reached 9,896,125 people and sustained engagement beyond peak retail moments, strengthening long-term consideration of South African-made products and reinforcing the value of choosing local all year round.
